It was filmed in the streets of Berlin early one Sunday morning in July.

At one point we narrowly avoided being arrested by some riot police.

And yesterday my debut solo album finally hit the music stores, over a year after it was mixed and mastered.

This is the first album release for our Spy Satellite label but it wont be the last. It's now available to pre-order on Amazon.

The first single is still climbing the German Radio Airplay charts, but already the second single Shine On is in the pipeline.

Shine On has also been chosen by Germany's largest TV station RTL to feature in another of their campaigns, just as Glorious was earlier this year.

The album was produced together with Michael Ilbert and features 12 songs, including both singles. Most of the recording was done in the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin, using lots of the old equipment which appeared on David Bowie's seminal Berlin trilogy of albums.

The piano used on Shine On is the very same one which can be heard on Bowie's Heroes.

It's been quite a frustrating journey to get to the point of releasing this album what with all the label changes, but now I'm very happy to announce the release in just over 4 weeks.

The album has already climbed to number 287 in the Amazon charts just on pre-orders alone.

It's called "Tell Me" and was produced by Michael Ilbert and myself in the Hansa Studios in Berlin last year. The piano you can hear is the very same one which David Bowie used when recording his trilogy of albums there in the last seventies.
